Upload a photo of a material and the tool removes visible seams at the edges and evens out the lighting so the image repeats without seams. Compare the tiled “before” and “after” and download the finished texture.

How to make a texture seamless
- Upload a photo: drop the file into the box above or paste it from the clipboard.
- Pick the edge blend width. A wider blend gives a softer transition but crops the final image more.
- Keep even out lighting on if the photo has vignetting or a shadow on one side — otherwise the tiles stand out by brightness.
- Compare the 3×3 tiled “before” and “after” previews and download the result as PNG or JPG.
- Need a PBR material? Click “Make PBR maps from the result” to open it in the normal map generator.
How it works
A strip at the right edge is smoothly cross-faded with the left edge, and the bottom with the top, then the overlap is cropped. Opposite edges end up matching, so no seam is visible when the image repeats. Lighting equalization divides the image by a blurred copy of itself, removing large brightness gradients while keeping the detail.
Tips for better results
- Shoot the material straight on, in diffuse light, without glare or perspective.
- Uniform materials work best: plaster, sand, grass, fabric, stone, bark.
- For textures with a large pattern (bricks, tiles) choose a photo where the pattern fits the frame evenly.

Why is the result smaller than the original?
Part of the edges is used for blending: with a 15% blend width the result is about 15% smaller on each side.
Where can I get ready-made seamless textures?
Our seamless texture library has more than 5,000 textures with PBR maps.
