Load a model in STL, OBJ, GLB, glTF, FBX, PLY, DAE, 3DS and save it as STL, OBJ, GLB, glTF, PLY. Conversion runs in your browser and the file is never uploaded.

Formats: STL, OBJ, GLB, glTF, FBX, PLY, DAE, 3DS. You can drop the model together with its textures and .mtl file. Nothing is uploaded — the model opens in your browser.

Save in another format
Materials and textures are kept only in GLB. STL stores the mesh alone, OBJ keeps mesh and UVs.
How to convert a 3D model
- Upload the model file — it opens in the viewer so you can check that everything is there.
- Choose the format you need.
- Press “Download” — the file is built in your browser and saved to your computer.
What carries over and what does not
Geometry and object placement always carry over. Materials and textures are preserved only when exporting to GLB. An STL export keeps the mesh alone: it is a 3D printing format and stores neither colour nor UVs. OBJ keeps geometry and UVs, but materials are not written to an .mtl file. Animation is not preserved.
Conversion happens entirely in your browser: the model is never uploaded, and file size is limited only by your computer’s memory.
